Spiritual Abuse Summit

Finding Hope And Healing After Church Hurt, Spiritual Abuse, And Religious Trauma

There is hope and healing after spiritual abuse.

EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU CAN'T STEP INTO A CHURCH OR CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY AGAIN.

You're brokenheartedbut you're not sure where to go from here.

THE SPIRITUALLY ABUSED AND THOSE WHO LOVE THEM

Many of us are asking the same thing:

  • How do we understand what happened and heal from this kind of betrayal and loss?

  • How do we report abuse or support those who have been harmed?

  • How do we find a healthy community again and what should we be looking for? (Or what if we don't want to go to church anymore?)

  • Can I ever trust a Christian leader again?

You've been hurt—but you don't know what to do about it.

You're holding it together the best you can - but you're weary.

The pain is real. You're struggling with your mental health. You are carrying a lot. You long to feel seen, heard, and understood.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHY THE SPIRITUAL ABUSE SUMMIT EXISTS.

You're Not Alone

The Spiritual Abuse Summit is here to give you the compassion, encouragement, and tools you need to find hope and healing.

Healing From Trauma with Therapy

Testimonial

We need to talk about these topics.

When I left my position at the church the Sr. Pastor told the staff to not speak to me anymore. After years of investing in those relationships, I was heartbroken and alone. It was hard to trust new community but as I went after my own healing, I started to see how many other rules were placed on all of us. It felt like I was breaking free of a cult. As God renewed my mind, He began to show me He rescued me. I wish I had a resource like The Spiritual Abuse Summit to help me process the pain and find healing.

Meet Your Host

"Many of us have experienced trauma where we were meant to find love. I want to bring hope and healing into those hurting places."

Jill Monaco, PCC is the founder of Jill Monaco Ministries, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. She is passionate about helping others encounter the presence of God and find freedom in Christ.

Jill experienced sexual abuse by a priest at the age of 13 and found the courage to report him to the authorities, which led to him being defrocked by the Catholic Church. When she started following Jesus in her 30s and became a worship leader, the married Sr. Pastor, invited her into an affair. Next, she was on staff at a mega-church where spiritual abuse was rampant.

She has written extensively on the topic of spiritual abuse, is an author, speaker, and a PCC credentialed coach with the International Coach Federation.

Jill now helps men and women understand spiritual abuse and heal from those painful experiences. Her compassion for those who are trying to process what happened and how to walk forward is a gift from God to the church. She longs to help more people find hope and healing with the Spiritual Abuse Summit.
